Drop-In Anchors for Flush Internal-Thread Connections
Drop-in anchors are internally threaded expansion anchors designed for installation in solid concrete. Once the anchor is inserted into a correctly prepared hole, a compatible setting tool expands the internal plug so that threaded rod, bolts or other matching fasteners can be installed and removed as required.
Key Features
• Flush-mounted internal thread after installation
• Supports removable threaded connections
• Carbon steel and stainless steel options available
• Sizes, finishes, setting tools and packaging can be customized
• Suitable for overhead and general concrete fixing when approved for the application
Material and Finish
Material, thread size and finish should be selected for the environment and project requirements. Carbon steel, stainless steel, zinc-plated and customized configurations are available according to confirmed specifications.
Applications
Typical uses include threaded-rod suspension, cable trays, pipe supports, HVAC services, machinery supports and other bolted fixtures in solid concrete.
Selection and Quotation
Provide thread size, anchor diameter and length, material, finish, required setting tool, base material, concrete strength, hole diameter and depth, embedment, fixture arrangement, quantity, packaging and applicable approval requirements. Performance depends on anchor selection, concrete condition, hole preparation, spacing, edge distance and correct expansion; follow the project design and installation instructions.
