Eye & eye turnbuckles are adjustable tensioning fittings with closed eye connections at both ends. They are commonly used where a secure, non-opening connection is required between wire ropes, cables, rods, shackles, pins or other compatible hardware.
The turnbuckle consists of a central body and two threaded end fittings, normally using opposite-hand threads. By rotating the body, the effective overall length can be increased or reduced without disconnecting the attached components. This allows controlled adjustment of tension and makes the product suitable for installation, alignment and periodic re-tensioning applications.
Compared with hook-end designs, the closed-eye configuration provides a more secure connection and reduces the risk of accidental disengagement during service. It is especially suitable for applications where the connected components remain in place for extended periods or where vibration and movement may occur.
Eye & eye turnbuckles can be supplied in carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steel according to the required environment and performance. Carbon steel versions are commonly used for general industrial and construction applications, while stainless steel options are suitable for outdoor, architectural, marine and other corrosion-sensitive environments.

Applications
Eye & eye turnbuckles are commonly used in cable bracing, wire-rope assemblies, structural tensioning, fencing, architectural systems, marine hardware, industrial equipment and general tension-control applications.
